Krueger accomplishes both using plush fabrics, functional modern furnishings, and a light color scheme filled with tans, greys, and ivory. A couple who recently purchased a seventh-floor condo in Lakeview liked Krueger’s blend of industrial and modern aesthetics. For the owner’s suite in a two-story Chicago penthouse, Mondi fashioned a luxurious oasis within a space characterized by bold architectural lines. Two walls adorned with sumptuous drapery offer a striking counterpoint to the bespoke bed wall, creating a harmonious blend of softness and drama. With leather-upholstered panels, intricately ribbed architectural millwork, alabaster sconces, and a carefully curated picture ledge, the wall achieves a perfect fusion of textures and elements. He completed the space with Regence chairs from a Paris flea market and an antique stool found at Newel in New York City. Ultimately, Becca’s lifelong love for design, combined with years of experience within the luxury furnishings and interior design field led her to open Becca Jarrad Design Studio in Chicago in 2019. We’ll then secure your retainer for the projected design work, which is refunded when our work is done.
